Pumpkin Carving Contest Winner
I entered my pumpkin in my first pumpkin carving contest. Well whaddya know? I won first place for myself and The Plant Ops/Security Department. It was really fun and interesting. I wanted to carve a pumpkin with a Halloween and Hospital theme combined. The idea of someone in pain and the Hospital patching them up goes perfect for a Halloween idea. I said "Why not combine this idea for a pumpkin?" I had an IV hooked up to it and all. The sign reads: Don't Go Insane, AVRH Is Here, To Ease Your Pain!
I would like to thank The Hospital Administration for having activities and contests like these at Alta Vista Regional Hospital. I would also like to thank everyone in Plant Ops/Security for allowing me to represent our Department. Thank You for all your help as well!

West Las Vegas High School 2010 Prom Logo Creation
"Night On The Titanic"
Earlier in the year I had the honor of creating the logo for the West Las Vegas Graduating Class of 2010.
Mr. Dan Gonzales who was in charge of getting things ready for this years prom asked if I would be willing to help by making a Titanic based logo for this years prom. This is what I came up with.
The logo was used to make the mugs and glasses for the prom. Make sure you thank Mr. Dan Gonzales for all his hard work getting everything ready for this years prom, and for all his hard work that he does in the classroom. He was my Algebra teacher and track coach when I was in high school.

My 2011 Pumpking Carving Submission
As usual alot of thought, hard work, and time went into another pumpkin. I actually thought this one was way better than mine last year. There was also a Dumbo pumpkin that I really really liked. That one probably took just as much thought, time, and effort as mine, unfortunately neither of our pumpkins won. It's all in the judging I guess. Oh well I think I'll stick to what I do best, my portraits."LOL"! Either way I hope you like my pumpkin.
On a positive note I would like to thank the Plant Ops/Security Dept. for allowing me to "represent" again this year and for all their hard work that they do throughout the year!
I have an idea, Lets have a drawing contest! LOL

Padillas Pencil Portraits posts it's first Youtube video! It's a time lapse video of myself drawing and eye,nose,eybrow, and hair. It's Pretty Impressive! Took about an hour to complete. Hope you like it.
